Brandon Johnson

CAMERON MANAGEMENT ROLE

As Director of Projects, Brandon Johnson works in conjunction with Cameron’s General Managers, Property Managers, and the Director of Engineering on all construction projects. He is responsible for construction supervision on tenant improvements, capital projects, and large building maintenance issues. His established relationships with contractors, architects, vendors and tenants lends to the continued success of each project. Brandon also manages an in-house Project Crew that competes with outside vendors in order to bring the best value to the tenants and investors.

 

CAMERON HIGHLIGHTS

 

Brandon was a huge asset during the lobby/tunnel redevelopment, including the Art Wall and escalator installation leading into the tunnel.  He has also been instrumental in the multi-tenant corridor redevelopment and the installation of sprinklers throughout the entire building. Brandon planned and managed the re-roofing project (in excess of 50, 000 square feet) at both 1001 McKinney and Energy Plaza in San Antonio inclusive of supervision of the Project Crew. He designed the outside garage stairwell for 1001 McKinney and then managed an outside vendor for the construction and installation process. Brandon supervised the refurbishment of all mechanical rooms at 1001 McKinney and 811 Rusk.

 

CAREER BACKGROUND

Prior to joining Cameron Management, Brandon managed a 17,000-square-foot production facility as Scene Shop Foreman at the Alley Theatre. During this time, he also built the halftime show for Super Bowl XXXVIII under Best Productions of New York. He has also worked in residential construction not only as a Construction Supervisor, but also in many of the trades.
