Scott R. Schroer

CAMERON MANAGEMENT ROLE

Scott R. Schroer is the Chief Financial Officer for Cameron Management and is responsible for all finance, accounting, insurance, and tax functions. In addition, Scott oversees Human Resources and Investor Relations.

 

CAMERON HIGHLIGHTS

Involved with divestiture of Energy Plaza, One Park Ten and 3000 Richmond properties in 2011. Redesigned the Cameron Management website – 2011. Assisted with on-boarding of Esperson in 2012 (including issuance of CI B shares); refinance of 1001 McKinney and Esperson in 2014; extension of 1001 McKinney loan in 2017. Trained in Argus Enterprise – 2017. Upgraded accounting system to Yardi Voyager; streamlined budgeting and financial reporting; upgraded audit/appraisal responsive. Negotiates property tax valuation settlements with HCAD every year. Negotiated energy contracts for 1001 McKinney and Esperson. Handles insurance claims and annual insurance policy renewals. Maintained/enhanced employee benefits (health insurance, 401k); updated on-boarding, workers’ comp and termination procedures. On-boarded Angus Anywhere (work order and PM software) for both Esperson and 1001 McKinney – 2015.

 

CAREER BACKGROUND

Prior to joining Cameron Management in 2011, Scott was Owner and Chief Operating Officer for Toddy Products (a privately held, Houston-based food and beverage manufacturer) for 15 years, until the company was sold to S and D Coffee. Scott has held previous positions as the CFO of Lark Sequencing (biotech startup), Financial Analyst for the M&A group of Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan Chase), and Treasurer of Victor Federal Savings & Loan.
